A Crossroads Church of God Wedding

They were in middle school when they became best friends. By the time they got to high school their relationship had blossomed into a sweet romance. After high school they went off to pursue their bachelor degrees together at The University of Toledo. Then by a great stroke of luck they were both accepted into the same Physician Assistant school. It was a long and difficult academic journey. Throughout all of it, they supported and loved and encouraged each other. Today they are both successfully working as Physician Assistants and they recently purchased their first home. Together they have worked incredibly hard and accomplished so much. It was my great honor to be a part of their beautiful wedding day and to serve them as they celebrated with their wonderful family and friends.

It was a wedding day full of laughter and joy. They had guests from all stages of their lives and everyone was excited to celebrate the marriage of this incredible couple.

They even had a heavenly visitor in the form of a butterfly stop by to join in the celebration. Brooke commented that it had to be her sister, Holly. It landed on Jordan’s fingers and stayed for a while. The colors in the butterfly’s wings actually matched the wedding colors with shades of blue and grey. Her Grandpa Jim also visited from heaven. When we wanted to do a veil fluff for photos, just the right amount of wind would happen and lift her veil perfectly. Brooke’s brother, Evan, was not able to attend. He is currently serving in the military. He was not left out though. Brooke and Jered had a military solder doll that they included in family photos to make sure that he was included. Thank you Evan for your service to our country!

My job was made so much easier thanks to Ann Bensman and Alexis Roob. They were designated the President and Vice President of the wedding. They took care of Brooke and Jered by working behind the scenes throughout the entire day. They attended to every last detail which made the day even more wonderful for everyone.
