Senior Portraits ~ Olivia ~ Class of 2020

Olivia ~ Class of 2020 ~ Lima Central Catholic

Olivia is a stunning young lady. She is a natural beauty both inside and out.  Working with Olivia and her mom was such a fun experience. Her soft nature and gorgeous smile made my job very easy.

I had the wonderful privilege of doing three separate senior shoots with her.  We did one in the summer, one in the fall and then another one at Olivia’s high school tennis courts.  Her sisters Kacy, Lilly and Cecilia joined us for her fall shoot. I talked them into letting me take some unplanned “sisters” pictures.  Her beautiful mom, Cindy, also agreed to pose with her gorgeous girls for a few shots.

Olivia’s list of accomplishments is quite impressive. Starting freshman year, she was first singles on her high school tennis team. She stayed at first singles all 4 years and she was a district qualifier all four years as well. She won sectionals during her junior year and she was just one match away from state three times. She was a captain on her tennis team as a senior. She was also the Lima News Scholar Athlete of the Week and McDonald’s Student Athlete of the Week. She received the golden racket award and the silver racket award. She is obviously very passionate about tennis and she volunteers at the Lima Area Tennis Association (LATA) every winter and summer. As instructors, they teach young children how to play tennis for free. She also works at Westwood Tennis and Fitness as a tennis instructor. She teaches many of the younger classes with children at ages ranging from 4 to 16. She loves teaching tennis to younger children, and it actually led her to her career choice. She never wants to give up helping kids, so she plans to become a physician’s assistant specializing in pediatrics.

Olivia volunteers at her local parish, St. Charles Church, as a server at mass. Additionally, she is involved in many clubs and organizations at school. She is vice president of Mu Alpha Theta (math club), she is a member of her school’s National Honor Society, S.O.S (Supporting Our Students), S.I.A (Students In Action), the International Club, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. She has also received academic letters and has had the opportunity to be involved in the mentorship program at school for college credit. She really enjoys being outside, skiing, watching Netflix, going on road trips, taking walks, reading, biking, and going to the beach.

Olivia is the oldest of 5 kids. She has one brother (Davey, 12) and three sisters (Kacy 10, Lillian 7, Cecilia 5). Her dad comes from a family of 13 children which means that she has grown up with a huge family.  She loves going to family events and spending time with her many cousins!  She can’t imagine her life without her siblings. They make everything so fun and there is never a dull moment in her house. She also has a puppy, Oscar. He is a black boxer and he is crazyyyy, so he fits in quite well! Her family is really close and they all like to play outside together.

She will be attending Ohio Northern University and will be majoring in Biology. She also plans to play tennis on the ONU team. After she gets her bachelor’s degree in Biology, she plans to go to Physicians Assistant School and specialize in pediatrics. She dreams of living somewhere warm hopefully by the beach when she is older.

We all hope for Olivia to have great success as he moves on into her future.  May God bless her greatly along the way.
