An Ohio Historic Round Barn Wedding

Photographing the wedding of this gorgeous couple was an incredible experience. It was set on The Orrmont Farm in The Historic Round Bank Barn in Piqua, Ohio. The venue was stunning and the skies were bright. Every detail was planned perfectly. It was a wonderful experience for everyone in attendance.

I was especially touched by their delightful families and friends. Alaina and Eli are definitely loved by so many amazing people who worked hard to make sure that their wedding day was completely magical. And it was!

Alaina and Eli’s love story actually started when she was only four years old.

Their grandfathers were good friends and taught together at Wesley Chapel Church in Urbana for many years. Eli’s Grandpa, Buddie Tuttle, is the Pastor and Alaina’s Papaw Wayne taught Sunday school.

Although Alaina did not know Eli at the time, his Grandpa Buddie became very close to Alaina when she was diagnosed with cancer at the age of four. He would often come to The Children’s Hospital to pray with Alaina and her family. Alaina formed a very special friendship with him.

It just so happened that Eli’s family and Alaina’s family both attended Maiden Lane Church of God. For many years they knew of each other but didn’t officially meet until a little over two years ago. Ironically, Eli was only a few church pews away from Aliana for many years and they never really spoke.

Fast-forward to May of 2018 when Eli decided to message Alaina and they began to talk. They soon decided to meet face-to-face and they have been inseparable ever since.

Their wedding day could not have been complete without having Buddie and Papaw Wayne there to witness their vows. Having Buddie as their officiant made their ceremony more perfect than ever.

God knew what He was doing with them starting many years ago. They just had to wait for His timing before their amazing love story could begin. And now they get to spend the rest of their lives together!
